## Who they are

Remote Atlas organises private journeys for 2–4 guests to remote territories. Timofei and Nikita are equal organisers and travel companions: either of them can travel with a group on his own. This is the English version of the site. Canonical address: https://remoteatlas.tv/en/ (without www).

## How a trip works

The guest describes where they would like to go and how they like to travel. The organisers put the whole route together: visas and entry formalities, flights and connections, accommodation, transport, the programme on the ground and what to do if plans change. On the ground, Timofei or Nikita personally accompanies the group.

Comfort is the best available in each particular place: from a good local hotel to luxury where it exists. On a small island the choice may be more modest; this is discussed in advance. The cost is calculated individually after a conversation about the destination and budget; there are no ready-made price lists on the site.

## First-hand experience, not a catalogue

It is built on places Timofei and Nikita have already reached themselves. A route travelled in the past is not the same as a future offer: flight connections and accommodation are checked again.

### 01. Nauru and Kiribati

Region: Central Pacific
Stops: Fiji → Nauru → Tarawa → Kiritimati → Fiji

Drive around Nauru, spend a few days on Tarawa and carry on to Kiritimati. We travelled this route ourselves — via Bangkok, Hong Kong and Fiji.

From the travel notebook: On that trip we flew from Nauru to Tarawa with Nauru Airlines. On Tarawa we hired a car and stayed for about 3–4 days, then took a direct flight to Kiritimati.

### 02. Fiji, Tonga and Vanuatu

Region: South Pacific
Stops: Fiji → Nuku‘alofa → Port Vila → Fiji

Our first Oceania route together: from Bangkok via Hong Kong and Fiji to Tonga and Vanuatu. In Tonga we were in Nuku‘alofa; in Vanuatu, in Port Vila.

From the travel notebook: Our planned Air Vanuatu flight to the volcano was cancelled the day before. We had to change plans and return to Fiji. That is why, on a complex route, we think not only about how to get there but also about what to do when things change.

### 03. New Caledonia

Region: New Caledonia
Stops: Preparation → Visa → Entry → By car

In New Caledonia we travelled by car. Across large territories we prefer private transport: driving ourselves or with a driver, depending on the route.

From the travel notebook: With Russian passports, we applied for visas from Laos and received them fairly quickly. On entry, our first-aid kit was checked carefully. We know details like these from our own experience; for each new trip we check the conditions again.

### 04. Tuvalu and Funafuti

Region: Tuvalu / Funafuti
Stops: Tuvalu → Funafuti

Funafuti is part of our own experience of the Pacific. We made it here on our own too, so a conversation about this trip starts with knowing the place.

From the travel notebook: We put your route together separately, around your group’s dates, pace and wishes. Flight connections and accommodation options are checked again before we prepare a proposal.

### 05. Mongolia: Terelj, the Altai and Khövsgöl

Region: Mongolia
Stops: Terelj → Mongolian Altai → Khövsgöl

On one journey, Nikita and I combined Terelj, the Mongolian Altai and Lake Khövsgöl: we flew in a gyroplane, looked out at a glacier from a viewpoint, slept in yurts and spent three nights by the lake. The whole trip took roughly 10–12 days.

From the travel notebook: Between the regions we took domestic flights via Ulaanbaatar. From the yurt camp in the Altai to the viewpoint was about an hour and a half in a UAZ “Bukhanka”.

## On the horizon

A planned route across the Indian Ocean: Réunion · Mayotte · Madagascar · Seychelles · Sri Lanka. First-hand experience of it is still ahead.

## Questions from the site

**What do you take care of?**

We arrange the whole trip for you: the route, visas and entry formalities, flights, accommodation, transport and the programme on the ground. We personally accompany the group. What we organise and what it costs are agreed before anything is booked.

**What level of comfort can I expect?**

The best available in each particular place. Where there is a good hotel or a luxury option, we can choose it. On a small island the choice can be more modest: we discuss the real options in advance and pick the right one.

**How much does a trip cost?**

We price every trip individually: the cost depends on the route, the dates, the number of guests, flights and accommodation. After our first conversation we agree on a destination and a rough budget, then prepare a specific proposal.

**Who will accompany the group?**

Timofei or Nikita. We are equal organisers, and either of us can accompany a trip on his own. We’ll agree in advance who travels with you.

## How to get in touch

The form on the site prepares the text locally. It can be copied, sent to Timofei on Telegram (https://t.me/timanashko) or opened as an email to timofei.anashko@gmail.com.

## Photographs

Images on the page. The travel archive has 17 photos; captions describe what is visible in each photo, and places are not guessed from images unless the site text names them. Three frames from Tarawa and Kiribati are part of the archive: sunset over the lagoon of South Tarawa, Timofei in the Tarawa lagoon and a person in a Hawaiian shirt in the shallows of Kiribati (the specific islet is not named). Four frames from the Tonga chapter: the natural stone arch with surf seen from inside, a view down from a limestone cliff to the reef, the same arch from above through pandanus, and the stone gate of Ha‘amonga ‘a Maui.

## Video

The page has five short seamless loops without sound and one clip with sound: children singing in a village hall on Lelepa Island, Vanuatu. The clip with sound does not loop and does not start on its own.
