We drove between stops in a hire car. 1. La Tontouta — Start. We landed early in the morning and picked up a hire car the same day. 2. Nouméa — Overland. We checked in at Nouméa. 3. Blue River — Overland. That same day we visited Blue River Provincial Park. 4. Nouméa — Overland. Back to the city: one night in Nouméa. 5. Bourail — Overland. Two nights at the hotel in Domaine de Deva, formerly the Sheraton. We drove north along the west coast, past the airport again. 6. Poé — Overland. A local trip to Poé and a flight with Air Paradise. Not an overnight stop, and not a drawing of the flight itself. 7. Koné — Overland. One night. The helicopter flight did not happen: it was cancelled because of the weather. 8. Poindimié — Overland. Two or three days at Hôtel Tiéti. 9. La Tontouta — Overland. From Tiéti we drove straight to La Tontouta, returned the car and flew home. ## 01. Nouméa and Blue River We arrived early in the morning, picked up a car and checked into our accommodation in Nouméa. That same day we visited Blue River Provincial Park — Parc provincial de la Rivière Bleue. Bourail, Poé and Koné Near Bourail, we spent two nights at the hotel in Domaine de Deva, formerly the Sheraton. From there we visited Poé and took a flight with Air Paradise. The following night was in Koné. We had planned a helicopter flight there, but it was cancelled because of the weather. Tiéti and the east coast In Poindimié, we stayed at Hôtel Tiéti for another two or three days. Our first-aid kit was checked carefully on arrival. We hired the car without a deposit on that trip; for new dates, we check the rental terms again. ## A trip for your group A private trip for 2–4 guests with Timofei or Nikita. We work out the route and the cost around your dates. **Route.** We’ll discuss how long to spend on each coast and which stops to include, then find accommodation and arrange transport. **Travelling with you.** Timofei or Nikita travels with you. We handle transfers, check-ins and arrangements on the ground. **Cost.** We’ll quote for your whole group based on your dates and preferences. We’ll agree separately which flight tickets to include.
