The route starts in the capital, Honiara, with a stay at the Coral Sea Resort & Casino, walks in town and time among local life. The frames below were shot on Guadalcanal in August 2024.
MUNDA · TETEPARE
Munda
and Tetepare.
Next, Munda and Tetepare, an uninhabited island: watching dugongs, rays, turtles and other sea life, snorkelling on the reefs, and walks in primary tropical forest. The frames below were shot in Munda and in Western Province. This set has no frames from Tetepare itself.
SECOND WORLD WAR
Wrecked ships
and aircraft.
The route adds diving on ships and aircraft sunk in the Second World War.
MAROVO
Marovo Lagoon.
And Marovo Lagoon, a large saltwater lagoon with a rich underwater life.
